Add photos to a job and scan them with AI

Photos are saved against the step you are working on, so you have a clear record of the condition before, during and after a repair.

Add a photo

1. Open the job and choose the step.
2. Choose Take a photo to use your camera, or Add from camera roll for photos you already have.
3. The photo is added to the step's gallery.

Photos are compressed on your device and resized when they are saved. The largest file you can upload is 25 MB.

Edit a photo

• Rotate left and Rotate right
• Crop / zoom - this saves as a new photo, so the original stays
• Add a note to a photo with Add a note to this photo
• Open the Photo gallery to see all of a job's photos

Scan with AI

Choose AI scan this photo and Tinkari's AI describes what it sees - condition, visible faults and parts relevant to the job. The wording depends on the job's AI job type, which you can change on the job card.

Review what it says before relying on it. The result becomes a note you can edit.

Daily limits

AI scans have a daily allowance that depends on your plan. If you reach it you are told, and it resets the next day. See Plans, pricing and user tokens explained.

Delete a photo

Choose Delete this photo. Notes attached to it stay in the step as general notes.
